More fun birthday photos!!!

All of Gretta's presents
Opening her present from Nana.
We gave her a razor scooter. She was so excited!

Happy 6th Birthday Gretta!

Gretta was so excited for her birthday party. We have been talking about it for months. She really wanted to have it on her birthday, so we decided to invite 6 friends from her school class. They came over at 10:30 am and I loaded them on the bus at 12:10pm.
Here is the table all set up.

Here they are making the craft.
After the craft we had a pinata, but I didn't get any pictures of that because I was so worried about someone getting killed with the golf club they were hitting the pinata with. They sure had a good time with the pinata.
Then we had lunch.
Cake
Daddy surprised us both and made it home in time for cake and ice cream.

Then presents.
Then I put them on the bus and they all headed to school. It was a great success and so much fun to get to meet more of her friends from school.
All of her presents
After school we opened our family presents.
Here new two wheeled scooter.
It was a great day. I can't believe how fast the last 6 years have gone by. We love you Gretta!

Live Reindeer at the Carousel

Eric had a work Christmas party so we headed to the carousel. They had live reindeer and Santa.
Eliza was in heaven. She loves animals. She keeps begging for a cat or a dog, or any pet.

Then we rode the carousel a few times. We also ran into Gretta's friend Maya.

After the party daddy showed up for a few minutes to enjoy the fun night too.

First Snow

Remember how I said we made snow men with shaving cream for our preschool craft because we didn't have any snow yet??? Well I must of jinxed us because it snowed the very next day. It was a light snow and the three days since have been blue sky and sunny which everyone says never happens in Michigan. But I will take it.
The girls were so excited to go outside an play it in, but that only lasted for about 30 mins. They still had a good time.

100% on her spelling test

Gretta had a pop quiz spelling test with words she had learned in class that follow spelling rules. I was so proud of her when she showed me the paper 6/6. She is doing great!
Especially for a daughter of a mom who can hardly spell!

Gingerbread Houses at School

I am the co-room mom for Gretta's Kindergarten class this year. I was in charge of organizing making Gingerbread Houses at school. Tuesday a few other moms helped me get all set up. We hot glued the graham crackers to milk cartons and sorted candy that people had donated. Today I went and the kids made their houses. It was a fun project for them.
