Friends

My good friend Shelley Cannon moved to Japan in December of 2007. We meet because our husbands both grew up in La Canada, and have some mutual friends. Gretta and Anthon are only a few months apart, and we were in the same play group when they were little. Shelley and Anthon are so much fun. Gretta and I really missed them when they moved. We bought their car which we still call the "Anthon-Shelley" car when they moved.

The good thing about her husband being from La Canada is that they have come back the last two summers for a long visit. We went over to Shelley's in-laws to go swimming today. We had such a nice time. Eliza and Ella are also only a month apart, so our kids played well together.
After swimming and lunch Gretta and Anthon decided to go on an adventure to Idaho together. It was so cute to see them use their big imaginations. They aren't little babies any more.
It was hard to get a good picture of the kids together.
We sure had a fun time and hope even if we are moving to Utah that our summer visits will continue.
