Anything can be a toy!!!

Gretta and I were playing with all of her toys the other day and once all of the toys were all out and on the floor she decided that the plastic bucket would make a great toy. She got in the bucket and tried to drive it like a car.

More Cruise Pictures

Cruising!!!

Here is the welcome picture for our week long adventure on Mariner of the Sea. We sure did have a life time. Royal Caribbeans motto is" Vacation of a Lifetime". I think that is a pretty big statement to motive you to spend more money. Maybe we didn't have the vacation of a lifetime but we sure had a great time. The ship was huge and even had an indoor ice skating rink. We also roller bladed, rock climbed, played ping pong, swam in one of the many pools all on board. My favorite thing was the soft serve ice cream machine pool side.
If you are thinking about cruising for a vacation I would highly recommend it, but not for kids under the age of 3. I was really glad that Gretta was getting spoiled in Boise instead of trying to find ways to climb overboard or get into trouble. We sure had a fun time just relaxing and working on our tans. I loved having some on make my bed and make all of my food for me. Eating in the dinner room every night is just so nice. I was sad when I got home and realized that I once again was going to have to take care of the house, buy the groceries, make the food and serve my self. Oh well one week of bliss was great.

Gretta's Trip to Boise and Tamarack

Gretta loved her trip to Boise. She had so much fun with Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa while we were on the Fors Family Cruise. She got SPOILED ROTTEN! These pictures were taken at Tamarack resort just outside of Boise. I went up with my parents with Gretta before I left for Florida. She had a great time swimming in the pool and throwing rocks and dirt in the wilderness.
I don't have any more pictures of her trip because I wasn't there!
Gretta was also at home when Grandma Gretta came out of Aspen Rehab Hospital and I guess Little Gretta stole the show at her graduation. One Gretta is sometimes much and two is over the top!

Gretta's Trip to Walmart with Nana

During our trip to visit Aunt Anna Gretta had tons of fun!!! One of the highlights was a trip to Walmart where Nana bought her Tinkerbell sunglasses and a big purple ball. She loves smiling big and showing everyone how cute she is with her sunglasses.

Stickler Conference

This is a picture of me with Dr. Gunner Stickler of the Mayo Clinic.

This last weekend I attended the Annual Stickler Convention. This year it was held at the Mayo Clinic. It was excellent and I enjoyed learning more about Stickler Syndrome.

Stickler syndrome is a connective tissue disorder, a genetic malfunction in the tissue that connects bones, eyes, and ears. This disorder is associated with problems of vision, hearing, bone and joint, facial and cleft palate.
