Carli 8 months

Carli 8 months!
Carli is growing up way to fast! She is such a delightful baby. She is so sweet and puts up with so much "love" from her sisters.
Carli loves...
her binky bear she sleeps with.
to play with books
to play her blocks and cups.
 to bang things together.
to jump up and down in the jumparoo.
to sit at the table with us when we eat dinner.
has 2 teeth on the bottom and is working on a few more.
to play peek a boo.
doesn't like to be left a lone in a room and makes sure I am close by.
to play with her toes.
to charm everyone she meets with her beautiful smile and big blue eyes.

Her hair is coming in blonde, but it is very soft and wispy.
She is a very easy baby to put to sleep and continues to be a good sleeper.
Finally started solid foods and likes vegetables better than fruit.

We love you Carli and are so happy you are part of our family!

We love you Carli!!! It was hard to get a good picture of her because she was to interested in the sign.

Thanks Aunt Anna!!!

Doesn't Carli look cute in her new outfit from the Bartoo's. I took Carli for her pre op appointment yesterday and she had an ear infection so we had to postpone her special hearing test until Dec 20 th. The pediatrician didn't think she had an ear infection because she didn't have a fever and she was surprised when she checked her ears. I wasn't. My kids never get fevers when they have ear infections. I wish they would it would make it eaiser to know they have one. I think for Christmas I want a nice otoscope so I can check their ears myself.
I am sad she has an ear infection so she can't have her special hearing test and I am also sad because the antibiotics are so hard on her. Plus I have been trying so had to keep her well an it is such a struggle with two older sisters who bring home germs from school. She has had two colds and two ear infections. It seems once she gets a runny noes it goes straight to her ears. I just hope I can keep her well enough so she can have the test in December. It will be nice to know exactly what she can hear.

Duke and Jackson's Christmas presents

We let the kids open the Christmas presents from each other. I made Duke and Jackson quite bags for Church. Aunt Anna was much cooler and gave my girls Barbie. They were so excited because they LOVE Barbies and complain they don't have enjoy.

Fun around the house at the Bartoo's

The cousins sure have fun playing together. Eliza loved riding Jackson's scooter around the living room with his chuck E cheese crown over her eyes.
Bartoo's Thanks so much for a wonderful week!!! We sure had a great time.

Chuck E Cheese

Friday night we went to dinner and played at Chuck E Cheese. Jackson always loves going to "Cheeses" and we don't have one in St. Joe, so it was a special treat. Even the parents had a good time.

Thanksgiving Dinner 2012

We decided with 4 adults and 5 kids it sounded like a better idea to go to dinner than to the trouble of making it all. It worked out great too because I got really sick on Thanksgiving and spent the rest of the day after dinner in bed. I haven't been that sick in a long time.
Thanks to Anna & Eric for holding down the fort while I was sick.

Putting on show with the cousins

Gretta, Eliza and Jackson formed a band while we were in MN. Eliza was the mc, Gretta the musician and Jackson was the dancer.
Eliza liked helping Aunt Anna make pies too!

Bounce house with the Bartoo's

We made it to Minnesota in one day! Our original plan was to leave Tuesday night and drive as far as we could make it and then finish the drive on Wednesday. But Eric was able to get away earlier than planned, so we made to Anna and Gabe's house last Tuesday night. Yeah! The girls were good travelers.
Wednesday morning we went to the bounce house. The kids had such a great time.

Smiling Daisy

Eliza's preschool class had a Thanksgiving feast. The Pre-K class were Indians and the 4 year old class were the Pilgrims. Eliza was Smiling Daisy in the program. She sure had a great time and loves preschool.
