Ready for Church

Don't they look cute holding hands!

Oh how we miss these places!

YogurtLand
Carli LOVED it! I think it's the first time she has gone. The yogurt was so good and at 38cents an oz it seems like a bargain compared to the place in Michigan that is 52 cents an oz.

Then of course we had to hit In n Out and Café Rio.
The In N Out drive through line was CRAZY!!! I counted at least 25 cars in front of me in line and that was all I could see. The WHOLE parking lot was full too. Looks like they are doing big business in Utah.

Café Rio

More fun in Idaho!!!

Carli and Gretta got to ride in THE BUG They were so excited. We drove it just down to the bottom of the hill so we could drop the boys off at the Kriple's to get babysat. The girls were having so much fun at the Kriple's they decided to stay too! So my mom and I went off to run errands by ourselves!!! Eliza has been begging for a pet and a while back she even asked for a bunny. I have to say their bunnies were pretty cute and were making a good case. The only issue is that it is warmer in Idaho than Michigan and their bunnies live outside. I am not sure that would work in the winter in Michigan!!! I am also most sure Eliza has talked us into a Cat.
The big news tonight was that the boat was fixed!!! So we took it up and launched it with my dad. Gretta and Eliza had a great time tubing and Carli even jumped into the lake. After a fun night at Lucky Peak we dropped the trailer off at Pops work and he made the kids root beer floats. Got to love Pops work and his truck!

Look at the difference a few months makes!

Utah- visiting Carrie

While my mom went to lunch with her Jr. High friends the kids and I went to see my friend Carrie. Carrie and I have been friends for 18 years. Almost 1/2 our lives! Isn't that crazy. We went to Nursing school together at Ricks, to Jerusalem together, and she even started the NP program with me at BYU. She didn't finish because she married Brandon Crane who also happens to be from LaCanada. I realized that on this trip two of my girl friends who we visited also married boys from LaCanada. What a small world!
Carrie also lived in California while we were in California and then moved to Utah when we moved to Utah for MBA school, so we have seen a lot of each other through the years. I am a little sad she didn't move to Michigan with us too. LOL. She has a 10 year old and then the rest of our kids line up quite nicely. She has a 8, 6, and 3 year old and just adopted a cute little boy, Jacob, who was 2 weeks old. Don't my 4 month olds look like giants next to him!
We didn't get nearly long enough to chat!!! It was so much fun to see her:)
We sure had a fun quick trip to Utah. I sure miss the beautiful Utah mountains and all of our friends who live there, but I am surprised at the amount of traffic and how much growth is going on. It's a great place to visit, but I am not sure I would want to move back.
I realized I was born in Salt Lake and spent  7+ years of my adult life in Provo. I have very fond memories of that time. Also as kids we would go to Salt Lake to shop and vacation, so it always has happy memories.
Visiting Utah is always fun!

Aunt Debbie an Lessa

Eric's Aunt Debbie and Cousin Lessa were nice enough to come visit us at our hotel in Utah. We had a nice visit. They hadn't ever meet Carli either. Our family has sure changed since we moved to Michigan in 2011!!! It was fun to see them and catch up. Debbie brought us some of Papa's oranges all the way from California and also gave each girl an iTunes gift card. They were SO EXCITED! Even Carli know that an iTunes gift card is a good thing! Thanks so much for coming to see us.

Utah- Visiting Amanda

10 years ago Amanda, Chris and I were in Ecuador on a BYU Nursing Study Abroad. Amanda and I graduated together from our BSN program in 1999 and then again from the APRN program in 2004. We have been friends for a long time! I can't believe we have been NPs for 10 years! Now we have 9 kids between the two of us. 5 in the last 3 years!!!!
It was so fun to meet her twins too!!!

Mine 4 months. Hers 7 months

All our kids! In the last 3 years we have added 5!

Utah- VIsiting the Carrasco's

We had a great time visiting the Carrasco's and meeting Maddi's new baby, Lisbon. I was Gretta's age when I first meet Millicent. It's crazy to think we have been family friends for 30 years and that I use to babysit Maddi when she was born. Time surely flies!
John & William can fight over who gets the first date with Lisbon when she is 16.

Utah- Temple Square

We had a great time on Temple Square. Considering the age and attention span of our group I think we did pretty good. Eliza asked how long it took to build the Temple. What a good question. Then we went inside the visitor center and looked at the model of the Temple. We also meet 4 sisters from Hong Kong and the girls got to hear me speak Cantonese. So much fun! Then we headed to the Church History Museum. They have a great area for kids. It's always great to feel the Spirit of Temple Square.

On our way to Idaho and the boys first plane ride
