Boise Trip Day #1 - Friday Oct 29, 2010

We drove to Boise on Friday and got there around 3pm. We stopped by to say Hi to Grandpa and pick him up to go to dinner at Yen Ching. Gretta loves to go out to dinner.
Doesn't Grandpa look great! It is so wonderful he is in his own house again.

Then we went to my parents ward Trunk or Treat. Gretta was so excited because she got 44 pieces of candy.

MBASA Halloween Party

The MBA Spouse Association sponsored a Halloween Party. They had a chili cook off before and then games for the kids followed by a costume parade. It was a fun event.

Carving Pumpkins

The Spider Hat Gretta made at preschool
The girls were so excited to carve pumpkins!!!
 Almost done
The finished product! Happy Halloween

Trunk or Treat

Halloween at our house this year has been a lot more fun than in the past. Gretta really understand what Trick or Treating is and the girls have been excited for weeks about dressing up. Eliza keeps asking me, "What you be mommy?" when she is talking about Halloween. Marissa helped them make some decorations for the house and we have some fun Halloween coloring books and books. It has been  a lot of fun so far and we are just getting started on the parties.
Eliza has been saying for weeks that she wants to be a puppy for Halloween. Luckily cousin Jackson was a puppy last year, and Jackson was nice enough to let Eliza borrow his costume this year.
Eliza was so excited when I pulled the doggie costume out of the suitcase. You would have thought it was Christmas.
She had to try it on right away.

Tuesday Night they had Trunk or Treat at our church, and then a nice chili dinner followed by a little carnival for the kids.

 It was a fun night!

Visiting the Bartoo's

Duke Bartoo at 3 weeks old
Saturday Anna and I went to lunch with Jackson. He is such a cute good little boy. I just can't get enough of Panera Bread too. It is so good!

 Jackson, Me and Duke
 What a cute little baby
Trying to get a good picture of Anna's two boys together proved to be a big challenge that never turned out well. Oh well.

Monday Anna & I went to lunch again and took Duke this time.  Again at Panera Bread.

Thanks Anna for such a fun trip. It was so fun to meet Duke and spend sometime with your family.

More Family Photos

Heather Walker took our pictures. She did a great job. If you live in Provo I would look her up. Her prices are very reasonable.
