$2 Tuesday's at Thanksgiving Point Aug 23rd and 31st

We made it back to Provo just in time to enjoy 2 $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point. The first week we went to the Farm. The girls love the animals. The best part was actually going over to our friends the Palmers, from South Pasadena, after wards for lunch.
On the 31st we went to the Children's Gardens

It was a little cold to play in the water at Noah's Arch, but Gretta still got in.

We also went into the big gardens. Gretta run up and down the amphitheater 3 times. She was pretty tired after that. The gardens were beautiful and it was a fun day.

Just Hanging Around

It has been fun for the girls to be back home and to play with their toys again. They have gotten really good at playing together these last few months. It has been really fun to see this happen. Plus they both love books now and that is a really good thing.

Return Trip to Boise

At work with Pops

After Fors' Family vacation was over we spent Saturday night in La Canada and then went to church at our old ward in South Pasadena on Sunday. It was fun to see some of our friends. Then Sunday afternoon we flew back to Boise to pick up the minivan and drive home.
While we were gone the minivan got a cool new bluetooth cell phone kit installed. Yeah! It was a late birthday present from the Fors.

We stopped by the hospital to say hi to Grandpa Huff. The girls same him, "Tomorrow".  He looked good, but I forgot to take a picture of our visit. Gretta has been very concerned about him, so it was nice to visit.
Then on the way out of town we stopped by Western to say good bye to Pops. The girls loved the soda machine at his office.

Fors' Family Vacation Day #7 San Diego- La Canada

Eric, Allison and Rod took the girls to the park so I could pack. They had a great time.

One last family photo before we left the Coronado Cay House.

Then it was on to La Canada.

We had to make a little stop in Alhambra on the way to.. Yogurtland. Gretta recognized the sign right away and asked if we could go to yogurt.

Then we drove through South Pasadena for old times sake.

Saturday night we got together with my good friend Shelley Cannon who was visiting from Japan. We sure had a great time together. Shelley and I can't wait until we live in the same city again together.

Shelley and Quin who was ready for bed.
The rest of the gang... Eliza, Gretta, Anthon and Ella.
Gretta jumped off the diving board so Eliza had to do it too.

What a great time we had.

Fors' Family Vacation Day #6

In the morning some of the group went Jet Skiing while the others hung out by the pool at the Hotel. Gretta actually didn't go jet skiing. She just wanted to sit on them and get her picture taken. They had a great time.
And so did we. Gretta LOVES to swim and Eliza is getting pretty comfortable in the water too.

Then in the afternoon we went to visit some friends who were in the South Pasadena ward with use, the Waldrams. They moved to San Diego the same time we moved to Provo. Gretta was really excited to see Kamryn.
Gretta is currently a head taller than most of her friend her age. I guess she gets that from me. The girls sure had a fun time playing dress up together.

Then Friday night we rode the ferry from Coronado to  San Diego. It was a beautiful evening and the cruise was nice.

At the front of the boat.

When we got to the other side we took pedi cabs to dinner. They also took us on a little tour of the gas lamp district.
What a great way to end a week of Fors' Family Fun!
Thanks! Linda & Dennis

Fors' Family Vacation Day #5- San Diego Zoo

The first thing we did was take the bus tour.

Thursday night we made smore's and sat by the fire at the house.
