Ford Museum

Gretta had two days off of school so we decided to make it a mini family vacation. We left Thursday night and drove to visit some MBA friends who live in Canton, MI. We hit a snow storm about 50 miles from home and almost turned around. Instead we pulled off for dinner and in 30 mins all of the snow melted and we were on our way again. The whole rest of the drive was dry. It was crazy how much the weather changed in 30 mins.
We had a great time on Friday at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn with Kayla and her kids. Not only are Trevor and Kayla MBA friends, but they also both served in Hong Kong!

They had a great Wizard of Oz exhibit that the kids really enjoyed.

Eliza is going to be an engineer when she grows up. She love to build thinks and wants to know how everything works.

Testing out their cars

Making paper airplanes and then launching them in the air.

Then we had lunch. After lunch we headed off to Greenfield Village.
