Ava's 4th Birthday Party

A little girl, Ava, in Gretta's preschool class had her 4th Birthday party at Montrose Bowl. Montrose Bowl is a little bowling alley that you can rent out. Gretta sure had a fun time trying out bowling, and playing with her classmates outside of school. Plus it was fun for me to get to know some of the other parents a little bit better. We sure had a great time! Here is Gretta showing off her stuff.
"I think I can. I think I can."

So excited!

Yeah! The ball is going to make it all the way down the lane.

Watching all of the action.

Happy 90th Birthday Papa!!!

This weekend we celebrated Eric's Grandfather Herbert Goodrich's 90th birthday. He had a party on Saturday and 59 people came. I hope if I live to 90 I will still have 59 friends to come to my birthday party. He and Hilda loved to socialize and have many friends from church, bridge, Jolly Rogers, and the Retired United Pilots. It was a great party. Gretta stole the show when she sang, "Go tell it on the Mountain" for the whole group. It was a fun birthday party.
Plus this marks the 5 year anniversary for the first time I meet the whole Fors Family. I came down from Provo with Eric for Papa's 85th birthday party when we were dating. Not only did I get a great husband when I married Eric, but Eric has a great family and extended family as well.

Happy 90th Birthday Papa!!!
We love you.

Gretta and Aunt Brittany

After all the guests left we had a co-ed bridal shower for Lauren and Dan.

Dan and Lauren are going to get married in April. We played the newlywed game, and a get to know Dan game.

Then Rod set up the Karaoke machine and everyone started to Rock out. Gretta loved Karaoke. She wouldn't give up the microphone all night even though she didn't know the words. I think she is on track to be the youngest "American Idol" ever.

What a fun night!

Bath Art by Gretta

Gretta has special crayons that are made for the Bath tub. They wipe off pretty easy. This her her art from the other night. She drew the WHOLE family including me, Eric, Eliza, Nana, Papa, Anna, Gabe, Jackson, Grandfather, Grandma, Papa, Allison, Rod, Darron, Brittany ,Papa Goodrich, and Cousin Emily.
If you look closely you can see some of the circles actually have eyes, ears, a noes, and some hair.(She drew these with orange crayon so it is kind of hard to see in the picture.) I was pretty impressed. The extended family members just got blue circles.

My sister posted this on her blog. I thought it was pretty fun to see how close Eliza and Jackson's 6 months stats are so here you go...

Eliza's stats from her 6 1/2 month well baby visit in October. Looks like Jackson and Eliza have a similiar genetic potential....their numbers are almost identical.

Sister's

Gretta tells me often that Eliza is her best friend. I hope it stays that way forever.
