We have been Boo'd

I joined the St. Joseph Chapter of the MOMS Club in September. It is kind of like the MBA spouses association, but for stay at home moms. There are chapters all over the US. Most of the other moms are also Whirlpool spouses who are new the area. It has been fun to meet other moms in the area and for my kids to make friends.
We got boo'd by one of the other MOMS club families. The kids were so excited to get their own bags of Halloween treats.
We also enjoyed Booing another family.

Home Preschool

Our at hour preschool
Since I started my job at Andrew's Eliza has been going to the preschool at Andrew's while I am at work. However they do most of the preschool things in the morning. She gets there in time for nap, snack, and outside play time. I also took her out of preschool at the YMCA because it just wasn't work with our schedule and she kept crying.  So I decided to start teaching her preschool at home.  One of my friends told me  about a preschool called Mother Goose Time. They send me a box at the beginning of every month (it looks like a school bus in the left corner of the picture) full of almost everything I need for the month and a list of other supplies and books to get. This month we have been learning about Oceans. Gretta and Eliza have both enjoyed it. It has also given us something fun to do together. I have a lesson plan that tells me what to do and all of the crafts are in bags ready to go. It's great.

BYU MBA friends in Michigan

Thanks Christensen's for hosting a fun dinner with some of our MBA friends who live in the Western Michigan- Michiana Area (that is the name for southern Michigan & Northern Indiana ) We are sad the Andersen's couldn't join us.
It has been so much fun to have some familiar faces close by.

The kids had fun too!

A Family of 8 for 23 hours!

We are lucky enough to have some friends from MBA school who live close. We watched their four kids so they could get away for a day. They dropped them off Friday at 3pm and picked them up Saturday at 2pm. We had a great time!!! They have great kids and we had a good time.
Here is the whole gang in my mini van!
Friday night we went to the park at the beach and enjoyed a lovely sunset.
Doesn't this make you want to come visit us!
What a cute gang!

 Saturday morning breakfast

Then we went to the Sarrett Nature Center for their Fall Festival. We enjoyed seeing Bun Bun the bunny, and taking a little hike.  .

Then we went down to the Fall Festival. Each child chose one activity. The boys wanted to make bracelets and the girls went on pony rides

Their parents came to get them at 2pm. We sure had a great time and are so grateful for good friends. Our kids are going to their house in November. Hopefully it goes as well.

I made Allison a carseat cover and nursing cover, and since I am not going to make it to her shower I gave them to her here.
We sure had a fun visit. Thanks for coming to visit!!!
