Watching or listening to the news about the 2008 elections lately has just made me MAD!!! I am so sick and tired of the news picking our next President. I thought there was suppose to be freedom of the press, but don't be fooled I am sure that the media feels like McCain should be the next President, or at least the Republican nominee, and that is all we are going to hear about. It just makes me sick! Most people who vote don't really take the time to listen to the debates or to find out what a candidates’ position on issues are or think about how those positions are really going to affect then. So it is maddening to listen to what the press says because they are so bias.
This country really needs change and a new direction. The only person really capable of this change is Mitt Romney. Most of the other guys are Washington insiders. If McCain really wanted to change Washington he should have done it while he was in the Senate. He has had his chance to make his mark on the US and so far it hasn't helped us much. I am not sure how a Senator who couldn't really get anything done while he was in Senate is suppose to all of a sudden as a President make real things happen.
I am tired of the "Good Old Boys Club". I interned on Capital Hill when I was in college and one thing I learned is that connections, alliances, and money run deeper most times than what is really good for the American public as a whole. Don't be fooled most of what happens in Washington is due to the money industries spend to lobby Congress and the Senate. It is hard to find a member of Congress or the Senate who really listens to their constituents. They usually make sure they protect their own interests first, and then who ever gives them the most money or perks second and way down on the list is actually their constitutions.
I was living in Utah during the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2001 and saw first hand how Mitt Romney turned around the games. He did a great job. He has true leadership skills. He has spent years helping turn around companies and find new ways to make things happen. He also solved the health care crisis in Massachusetts. Everyone else talks about our health care crisis, but no one else on the campaign trail has really solved the problem.
Mitt Romney is the man to lead us into the future! A vote for him will be the best thing that you can do to help make America a better place to raise our children.
Go Romney!!!

Palm Springs!!!
We had a great week on Snyder Family Vacation in Palm Springs. We had great weather and Gretta really enjoyed hanging out with family. She loved riding in Pops truck, riding the bike with Nana, going to the playground and swimming. Mostly she enjoyed all the attention from everyone.
It is always fun to be with my family and the time always goes by way to fast!

Nurse Practitioner in Traning
I have been a little under the weather. I decided tonight to try and listen to my own lung sounds. I got out my stethoscope and tried unsuccessfully to listen to my own lung sounds. (I think I might actually break down and go see someone before I get pneumonia again.)
While I was doing this Gretta went over and got her back back full of her Bear Lovey's cloths. I just thought she wanted to play with Lovey, but then she pulled out Lovey's play stethoscope and wanted to listen to my heart and lungs too. I let her try mine, and after she realized that mine was cooler than hers she wouldn't trade me back for the picture. She is one smart girl!

Rose Parade
As a little child I have very fond memories of coming to visit my Grandparents who lived in Pasadena,at the time, and watching the Rose Parade. It was magical. One year we even got to help glue on flowers to a float. That was a special treat!
Well living here I still like it just as much. Last night we went down to the Rose Bowl and walked around and looked at some of the floats and then drove up and down the parade route to check it out. It is a pretty crazy scene.
My sister in law, Brittany, was part of the Girl Scout Gold Award Troupe that helps carry banners and flags. So Gretta is holding up signs for her. Later in the parade she wanted to hold up the Go USC banner too. Aunt Allison taught her how to say, "Go Trojans!"
Gretta loved the parade and we all had a great time!
