Darron had is homecoming on the 29th of June. He gave a great talk. It is always so wonderful to feel the spirit when newly returned missionaries share mission experiences. Darron had a very successful and faith inspiring mission.
It was a fun day of family and friends.
Eric's high school friend Dutch was also in town. He is a Navy Seal. Look how tiny Eliza looks next to him!

Fishy say "Cheese"
How can someone so cute do something like this??? The other Sunday Gretta got kicked out of nursery on account of bad behavior. They brought her to me in the the mothers lounge. At first I thought she was going to be well behaved for me. She told me she was hunger, and I told her how to find her gold fish cracker in my bag. She found them right away, and them dumped them on the floor along with most of the contents of my bag. During the dumping out she found the camera and took some pictures of her destruction for evidence herself. The funniest part was when she told the "fishes" to say "Cheese".
You have got to love it!

Warning!!! 5lbs weight limit
I bought a buggy board to attach to my snap'n go stroller this week. It is a pretty cool little gadget that attaches to any stroller so the bigger kid can stand on the back. (Sorry you can't see it better in the pictures.)I brought the snap'n go up stairs to the apartment so we could attach the buggy board. Well after Gretta was excused from the dinner table she decided to go check it out. Before we knew it she had climbed in the basket under the car seat. Luckily Eliza wasn't in the car seat. The basket has a 5 lbs weight limit, so as you can imagine her little visit added a hole to the basket. Eric accused me of being more interested in the picture than the safety of our child, or the well being of the basket. I guess he might be right. It was just so funny to see her jammed in the basket. She weights 30lbs, and way taller than the average 2 year old, so she isn't small. She was okay, and I am pretty sure I can fix the basket with a hot glue gun. Wish me luck!

Thank you
Thank you to everyone who left your blog address for me. It was fun to get so many responses. I sometimes think I am the only one who reads my blog. But I also know I secretly read a lot of blogs I never comment on due to my laziness.
So Thanks so much!
The best news is that when I went in tonight to put them in and found a new addition to blog spot "My Blog List". It really saved the day. Check it out.

Oh No
I accidentally erased all of my blog addresses on the right side of my blog. If you could leave your blog address in a comment that would be great! Thanks!

Photo's by Gretta
Gretta loves the camera! She always is pretending to take pictures. She tells me to say, "Cheese" sometimes and then snaps away. When she sees the real camera she gets really excited and always wants a turn taking pictures. Most of them end up like the bottom one..her finger covering the lens, but on Wednesday she actually took a few with people in it.

Welcome Home Darron!!!
Wednesday was a big day! We welcomed home Darron at 10:30am. Dennis and Linda flew to Nashville the day before to pick him up. They were able to go to the Temple with him and meet some of the people he taught. They had a great experience. The Spirit of missionary work is so strong.
Gretta was so excited to pick up Uncle Darron. She has been singing,"I hope they call me on a mission" for a while and every time she sings it she says, "Darron's on a mission." She was only 6 months old when he left, so I was interested in how she was going to react. She acted a little shy at first, but warmed up pretty quickly.
It is always so wonderful to feel a newly returned missionaries spirit. We were able to see him get released, and hear him share some mission experiences.

Gretta's last day of school
June 12th Gretta had her last day of PCC's Parent Ed. I can't believe how much the kids learned over the school year, and how much they changed. Gretta loved going to "school". The first hour is free play. They have all the toys we dream of owning. Then song time followed by snack. After snack the parents take turns having discussion about ,assigned parenting topics. It has been good for both of us and we can't wait for the class to start up again in the fall.
Gretta and I have enjoyed the friends we made.

Don't try this at home
I should never have encouraged this...However, Eliza really does look cute it Gretta's doll stroller. She really does look like a little china doll. She is so good natured and didn't seem to mind at all. Gretta wanted to take her outside, but let her push her around the hall.

"Mommy take my picture"
Gretta loves Eliza and want to play with her and be with her at ALL times. This is one of her favorite tricks to get into the swing with her. The other new trick Gretta has learned is to ask me to take her picture when she thinks she is doing something either cute, or funny. I hope this attention seeking behavior doesn't get us into trouble in the future.

"Hey mom look at me!"
This is Gretta in her sister Eliza's 0-3 month jog suit. I guess when you are tall and skinny you can fit into almost anything.I think you can infer from the pictures she feels pretty displaced too.
After Gretta found this in her closet, and instead on wearing it I decided I had to put her cloths on the bottom rack in her closet and move Eliza's to the top.
She is really growing up and wants to dress herself. I guess I am going to have to let go, and go with the flow. I love all of her cute matching outfits, but sometimes she doesn't want to wear them together. Oh well. She is defiantly exerting her independence.

Happy 96th Birthday Grandma!!!
Today is my Grandma Huff's actual 96th Birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma!!! Isn't it amazing to think about what she has seen and experienced in her 96 years. When we were in Boise we celebrated her birthday early. Little Gretta loves to sing happy birthday and she also loved helping frost the birthday cake.
I am named after my Grandmother and we named Gretta after her also. My Grandmother is such a great example to me. She is one of the most Christ-like people I know. She is always thinking of others. She also has a very cheerful disposition and personality. She loves to be the life of the party and always wants to have a good time. Even at 96 she doesn't want to miss anything.
I love you Grandma!!!
