Now that Eric is done studying for the CFA exam at night we are happy that we get to spend more time with him. He took Gretta on Daddy Daughter Date yesterday night. She was so excited about it and wanted to get all dressed up to go. It was a cold rainy night, but she didn't want to wear her jog suit because she wanted to look pretty for Daddy.

He took her to Dairy Queen because they have a fun indoor playground. She wanted to go to the park, but the rain ruined that.
She sure had a fun time playing.
Then they got a treat.
Not to leave Eliza out I told her we could go downtown and see the dogs. The rain made that a bit of a challenge, but we improvised. We went to the Chocolate Cafe and bought a brownie. She ate almost the whole thing. It was fun to send time one on one with her.

Next week it's Eliza's turn to go with Dad.

Dairy Queen with an indoor playground? Who ever heard of that? Looks like you are enjoying your new adventures- I'm sure the midwest is a bit different than the west coast. :) Look us up if you're ever down the St. Louis way!
