Trip to Boise Day #2- Philharmonsters & Papa's Birthday

In the morning we went shopping and my mom bought both girls a new pair of shoes and a pair of boots. Eliza kept saying that her shoes were tight. Since the summer her shoe size has gone from 7 to 9. No wonder her shoes were tight! She was so excited with the pair of pink light up shoes she got. My mom bought Gretta a nice pair of Keens. They will be great for the playground at preschool this winter. Plus both girls got new snow boots. Really snow boots this year and Gretta got some bigger socks.
It was a really successful shopping trip. Thanks MOM!!!

Before we left the girls had to put on a show for us.

Then we went to "Philharmonsters" at the Ester Simplot Preforming Arts Center. It was a great event. They had a "petting zoo" where they let the kids try out different instruments.
There is a girl in Gretta's primary who plays the violin, so Gretta was really interested to see how it worked.

She got all of the instruments to at least make a little sound.

They had a cake walk too.
Plus made some musical instruments and Gretta got her face painted.
All of the activities were followed by a short concert. It was a great afternoon!

Later we frosted cookies at Nana's.

And enjoyed a nice bike ride up and down the street. It was a beautiful fall day.

Then we celebrated Papa Jack's birthday.

 Happy Birthday Pops!
Sunday we got up and went to Stake Conference had lunch and then drove home. It was a really fun trip! Thanks for everything Mom & Dad.
