Cousin Jeff Snyder's Wedding to Della Deme

Saturday morning Eric and I went to the Chicago Temple and did a session while my Mom & Dad took the girls on a  boat ride architectural tour on the Chicago River.  We met up for lunch at Navy Pier. Then Eric was nice enough to take the girls to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier while
I went shopping with the Huff girls.
They had fun at the Children's Museum.

 They built forts
Then we got ready for Jeff's wedding.  Here we are all ready to go.
The ceremony was held at the Methodist Temple in Downtown Chicago. It is a historic landmark and use to be the tallest building in Chicago. It was a lovely chapel. The ceremony was wonderful. The bride made all of the flowers out of paper.
Then we took a picture across the street at the famous Picasso Statue
Followed by lovely reception at the Witt hotel in Downtown Chicago. Della also made all of the center pieces and name cards and more flowers for the reception. She was an art major at Yale and is very talented. The Deme family were wonderful host and a good time was had by all. Della's friends said she is a great hostess and she didn't disappoint. She left pink flip flops in the women's restroom for our weary feet. I was grateful. I had taken my shoes off while we were at the roof top lounge before the reception because they hurt so much. No one told me we were going to do quite so much walking.
Della and Jeff seem like quite a match. I actually haven't seen Jeff so happy in a while.

It was fun to all get together as a family and we enjoyed a lovely day.
