We tried another beach on Friday, Wako Beach, which is in Bridgeman. The weather wasn't on our side and our trip was cut short by a BIG thunderstorm and lightening, but it was fun while it lasted!
We will have to go another time.
Something I have lived in my short time as a Mid-Western is that everyone checks the doppler and the weather report daily and usually knows what is going to happen hour by hour. Gretta keeps checking the weather on my phone and asking why Provo has perfect weather. She means sunny everyday.
Oh well. We have to be above the weather if we are going to like this place.
