Christmas Card 2012

Merry Christmas!
2012 has been a year of new adventures and experiences for the Fors Family here in St. Joseph Michigan. The best news of the year was that we welcomed Carli Grace Fors to our family on March 29th

Gretchen enjoys her first year as a full time stay at home mom and has been active in the women’s organization at church, MOMS Club, PTO, and thoroughly enjoys immersing herself in the lives of her children:  helping in Gretta’s class at school & with PTO (1000 bags of popcorn popped and counting!), spending time with Eliza everyday at home, watching Carli grow bigger and simply enjoying the little joys of mothering our three girls! She has also enjoyed all the family and friends who visited this year and the many hours at the beach!

Gretta is working on her reading, writing and math skills. Her dad smiled when she pulled out her very first “math wizard” (the 2 min timed math test that you all might remember from elementary school). She’s already on to level B!! Gretta also enjoys learning and playing with her friends in Daisy Girl Scouts.

Eliza enjoys preschool at a local church. She and Gretta have been taking a music class and she can proudly sing her Do-Re-Mi’s just like Maria in The Sound of Music. If you’re thinking of a Christmas or birthday gift to send her, an IPad would be a good place to start. She’s officially addicted!

Carli might just be our happiest and most cheerful baby yet (don’t tell Gretta or Eliza). This year she has learned to roll, sit up, and charm everyone.  Rarely do we hear a cry out of her. We’re hoping that this doesn’t mean we’ll get a double helping of drama during her teenage years.

Eric enjoyed recruiting some MBAs and BBAs from BYU to come work at Whirlpool. He’s been working with some of Whirlpool’s new business ventures. Let’s just say now would be a good time to invest in Whirlpool stock. J  In church, he’s enjoyed working with the missionaries here in our local congregation. We have welcomed some wonderful new people into our congregation.

We hope that 2012 has been a year of happiness for your family. Thank you for the positive influence you have been and continue to be in our lives. May 2013 be a memorable one for your family.
Merry Christmas! Love Eric, Gretchen, Gretta, Eliza & Carli Fors
