Since we were gone over Thanksgiving we didn't go to get our Christmas tree until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The Christmas tree farm is located at the same place we pick blueberries in the summer. This year's warm dry spring/summer were very hard on the blueberries and also hard on the trees. They lost about 1/2 of the seedlings planted even with trying to water them. They also lost some mature trees, and the other trees didn't grow as much.
We had a great time picking out our tree and cutting it down. The tree farm is run by a nice family and we had a great time.
It was so warm we didn't even have to wear coats! It's sure been a year of crazy weather.
