Last 4th of July we camped with our MBA friends at Sleeping Bear Dunes. This year we decided to try something different and went to PJ Hoffmaster outside of Muskegon, MI. It was only about 1 1/2 hours north of our house and very close to civilization So Close we decided to go out to eat Wednesday after setting up camp. This year the Conrans, Christensen's, Andersons, McQwens', DuBois, Orems, Bennett's, joined us and the Vach's came up for the 4th of July.
PJ Hoffmaster is right on Lake Michigan and we enjoyed spending the 4th and 5th at the beach. We went to watch the fireworks on the 4th as a group. I think in total we had about 23 kids all 7 and under! Isn't that crazy. Plus the boys outnumber the girls 2 to 1. We are the only family with all girls.
We had a great time and are super sad that the Conran's are moving from Michigan to St. Louis. Hopefully since St. Louis isn't that far they will make it next year to the Annual Camp out. It has already become such a fun family tradition
