Here are some more pictures from our trip to Boise. It is getting hard to take a good picture of Gretta because she either wants to smile too big or she won't look at the camera. She also wants to take the picture herself. Oh well. I guess that is what happens.
My favorite picture of the group is her sitting with my grandma with her in all pink. We really did have a great trip.
While in Boise Nana took Gretta to the mall and bought her shoes. I think the picture says it all! She is only two and already shopping like a diva. I think I am in trouble.
While we were in Boise we helped Grandma and Grandpa celebrate their 62nd Wedding Anniversary. Gretta enjoyed helping blow out the candles on the cake.
My Grandparents are great examples of how to have a wonderful marriage and how to make it last.
Gretta and I went home to Boise for one last trip before the baby comes. In an attempt to grow Gretta's hair nice and long she had never had her hair cut.On Thursday Wendy cut my hair and then trimmed Gretta's hair. Gretta was actually pretty good about the whole thing and very excited. I think that she did so well because she saw me get my hair cut and then Wendy's two year old daughter, and then it was Gretta's turn. After Wendy cut her hair she volunteered to paint Gretta's toe nails. Gretta really liked getting her toe nails painted she just didn't like having to sit still while they dried. It took all of the concentration a two year old could muster.
For Valentine's Day Eric arranged his family watching Gretta for the whole weekend. We had a great time together being on one long date night. We went to a golf tournament during the day on Saturday and then out to dinner at a really nice restaurant follow by my favorite Chinese foot massages. What a perfect day! It was so much fun to spend so much time with Eric and it was also nice to sleep in and relax.
When I picked Gretta up on Monday she made a huge fuss over me and ran to me and gave me a big hug and a kiss. I missed her too. She is a great daughter.
I am so lucky to have such a great husband and a daughter.
My cousins were at Disneyland last week and we went down to visit them. Gretta loves going to Disneyland. She has been asking to go for a while, but we have just been too busy or sick to go lately, so she was really excited when I told her where we were going. The biggest treat of the night was that Eric came down and meet us and went to Disneyland with Gretta for the first time. She loved having Daddy at Disneyland. We had a great time and I hope that Eric will be able to take Gretta back after the new baby is born for some more daddy daughter time.
We celebrated Papa Goodrich's 89th Birthday with family. We had a great time. Gretta really enjoyed Odell, the dog, and having so much family around.
