A Full day- Saturday October 10, 2009

My parents came to help this weekend because Eric is out of town at NSHMBA's
(National Society of Hispanic MBA's) in Minnesota. They arrived Thursday afternoon and watched my kids Thursday afternoon and all day Friday while I was at work. I don't have any pictures of what they did, but they had a ball! My mom painted pumpkin's with the kids,
made ghost suckers, played dolls, read stories, colored, play play doh, played outside
and just had a great time.

Today my dad helped me in the morning with some house projects. He fixed quite a few things and we got a lot of "to do" things done today. Yeah!!! We made changed the sheets on 3 beds, mop the floor, washed 4 loads of cloths, got the flat tire fix on the minivan that had 3 nails in it, primary service project, where Gretta washed window, took out trash, and pulled weeds. Dad weather striped the door, checked out the sprinkler system and shut it down for the winter, hung pictures, finished the tile corner of the floor, checked out the cellar, secured the toilets, fixed the washing machine from walking all over, got the car wash and all gassed up. After all of our hard work we when to CornBelly's at Thanksgiving point in the afternoon. We had such a great time Gretta didn't want to go home. Then we went to dinner at our good friends the Carrasco's house. It was a fun day!
Thank so much Mom & Dad for your help!!!

Wow what a lot you go accomplished! It's amazing how much easier it is to get stuff done with extra helping hands and motivators! Now, those are the kinds of visitors I LOVE!
