Allison and Linda Visit Day #1-2

We picked Allison and Linda up on Monday after work. The girls were so excited for them to come. I think they brought the nice weather with them from California. It rained and was cold all last week. I was hoping it wasn't an early start to winter. Luckily when the arrived it was warm and sunny! This is great fall weather.
Tuesday morning we went to the Sarrett Nature Center. We had such a great time I bought a pass for the whole  year. In the winter they have cross country skiing.

Inside they have some animals and a place to play.
Here is the puppet show area.

This bridge is about 80 feet off the ground. We enjoyed all of the fall colors.

Then we went to the butterfly house. It was really cool! There were hundreds of butterflies everywhere!

It's hard to see, but there is a zebra butterfly in the picture.

 The whole gang!

Then we took Gretta to school.
After we dropped her off we went to Coloma and looked around. It was a beautiful fall day!

Then we went to the Cider Bar

We watched apple cider getting made and ate donuts.

After the Cider Bar we went to the store that sells Chocolate truffles. They have billboards up and down the freeway about how good this place is. The truffles are all handmade.

The three bit size samples cost $3.25
It was good, but not worth the price.

It was a fun day!
