Merry Christmas From The Fors- 2010

Our Dear Friends,
2010 has been a wonderful year.  This summer Eric interned with Whirlpool in Benton Harbor, MI as part of his MBA experience. While he worked, the girls enjoyed spending time at Silver Beach, swimming in Lake Michigan, eating at the Chocolate Café and picking blueberries and strawberries. We also enjoyed a family vacation to visit some LDS Church History sights, attended Eric’s brother’s wedding in LA and spent 4th of July with the Bartoo’s in The Dells, WI. We also had two extended family vacations, Camp Carolyn in McCall, ID & Fors Family Vacation in San Diego. And to top it all off, Eric and Gretchen enjoyed a relaxing (kids free) Alaskan Cruise. It was sure a fun summer!!!
BYU and Provo v2.0 has been great for our family. We have enjoyed being back in Utah and will be sad to leave. But, we are very excited about the opportunities that await us after MBA School. Here are some quick updates about the family.
Eliza (2.5) – has learned a lot in her first year of preschool in Ms. Roper’s class. She has had fun learning her letters and making friends. Her job at night is to ask everyone at prayer time what they want to pray for and what they are grateful for.
Gretta (5) – enjoys her time in BYU’s preschool program and BYU Creative Dance.  She provides song and dance routines every night during scripture time.
Gretchen – loves her job at the BYU Student Health Center working two days a week as a nurse practitioner. She’s excited to finally go skiing again this winter up at Sundance. She might even try to teach Gretta how to ski.
Eric – is ¾ of the way done with his MBA at BYU and can hardly believe it. The biggest news for him is that he signed a full-time offer letter with Whirlpool Corporation. For everyone interested, BYU football is playing Notre Dame in 2012 in South Bend. Consider this your invitation to crash at our place and make a vacation of it!
We hope your Christmas is Merry and your 2011 is Memorable,
Eric, Gretchen, Gretta and Eliza Fors
