We had the Krouge's over for dinner to help celebrate Eliza's birthday. Eliza requested hot dogs and a picnic for her birthday dinner. Luckily the weather was as nice and we could eat outside.

The big news is that she really wants to be a big kid! So today she didn't use her binkie at all. She made it through her nap and went to bed tonight just fine. We will see how this goes. She also REALLY wants a big kid bed for her birthday. I didn't know how important that was to her until today. I was really trying to make it to Michigan and then get one, but now it looks like she will be getting one this week.
She also wants to know if she can ride in a booster (not for a while) and have a big kid bike! (I think Grandma Linda is going to surprise her with this one.)
I think we should work on potty training first!!!
