Our friends from MBA school, Mike & Elizabeth Christensen,see here had some extra tickets to Conference. Actually Mike's Dad who is in charge of HR for the Church had some extra tickets and was nice enough to invite us.

It is always so wonderful to be able to see the Prophet and Apostles in person. The Spirit was very strong and I felt very uplifted. I really liked Elder Cooks talk here

Sunday after we dropped Nana off at the airport we drove the kids by the Conference Center. Even with the snow there were tons of people getting ready to go inside and others waiting for stand by tickets. It was a powerful testimony to them of the importance of watching Conference even if it is on the computer.
Also Elizabeth and Mike are moving to Kalamazoo, MI and will be about 45 mins from us. We are so excited to be their friends for a long time! Eliza goes to preschool with Reid and Tanner and I made the friendship quilt with Elizabeth. They have become great friends and we look forward to continuing that friendship for years to come!
