July 6th Sleeping Bear Dunes

The mighty dune climb of Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Some of the orphan children we found along the way. We figured we'd keep them they looked so cute!

Here is a picture of the survivors who climbed up the first hill of the dunes. We hope to see all of them at BYU in 14 years of so!

The view from the edge of the 300ft. sand dune that goes straight down to the water's edge of Lake Michigan. There is a sign that reads if rescue services are required to come save you, you will be charged for those services!

Gretta was the big climber of the day, making it all the way up without complaint!

The hairy blur standing next to me is Eliza (i.e. the girl who never wants her picture taken!) Gretta is always good for striking a pretty pose!

Gretchen living the dream as she floats the lazy Platte River in her inner tube!

This trip wouldn't have been nearly as fun without the great company of good friends!

The "pirates" commandeering the inflatable ship

Our 4th of July Celebratory BBQ!

Enjoying some good company with my girls!
