Neighborhood Ice Cream Party

Traditionally Shellie Jaques had a last day of school ice cream party with yard games in her backyard for the kids, but she moved so we weren't sure if it was going to happen or not. Shellie Moyer stepped up to the plate and invited everyone over. What a great day to celebrate the last day of school! The girls had a fun time, but were sad I didn't have water guns for them.

Family Fun Night at the Carousel

This years theme for the art work down town is, "Trains and Planes" We had a good time checking them all out and then going to the Carousel for the Last Family Fun Night of the season. It was also free cotton candy night. Gretta told me she had a tummy ache after we left. I thought she had 3 things of cotton candy, but I guess she also had 2 at school today during the all school picnic. No wonder her tummy hurt!

Carli 14 months

Growing up

Carli is growing up and has discovered opening the cupboards and loves to go down stairs and play with all of the toys. She loves to drive her car.  

Crystal Mountain Memorial Day Family Vacation

We decided to take a spur of the moment Memorial Day Family Trip up to Crystal Mountain, which we drove past when we were at Sleeping Bear Dunes

We stayed at a mountain type lodge similar to the Marriotts we have stayed in up at Park City, Utah.

The resort was a ton of fun. We went hiking and on bike rides and Eric even tried his luck at making a fire for S'mores. They were delicious!!

They also had Alpine Slides just like Gretchen and Eric used to ride when they were younger.

Last, but, not least they even had a water park to play in at the pool.

It was so much fun, we think we'll do it again!
