Tonight was Carli's first night without her binky. This night has been coming for a long time since they told me it had to be gone by her surgery, but it was still sad to hear her cry it out. She only gets her binky in her crib, so it should be easier than Eliza. But it still wasn't fun to hear her cry! We have been working on drinking from a cup too because after surgery she will only get a cup and no bottles or sippy cups. They are sure strict here in Michigan. Plus she has to be on baby food for 3-6 weeks after. No more finger food. Like the NP told me this state is conservative in its politics and it carries through to the rest of the state too. Haha. I guess that is why the Plastic Surgeon in LA was much more laid back,.
