Blessing of William Eric Fors

pronounced by his father, Eric Dennis Fors, July 5, 2014 in the home of his maternal grandparents, Jack and Carolyn Snyder, in Boise Idaho.

Dear Heavenly Father, we present this infant, one of thy sons, to give him a name and a blessing.  The name by which he will be known on the records of the church is William Eric Fors.

William, we bless you to be aware of your sweet and tender spirit that you will be able to show forth charity and Christlike love, and that others will feel this love through you.

You were given this name for a specific purpose- that you would remember the example of your father, and grandfather, and that their examples would be a constant strength as you go through this life.

We bless you to know that you have a purpose, here in this time when the world needs good men, to spread truth, dispel  error, reach out to the poor and needy and buoy them up.

We bless you to be a loyal friend and companion to your brother  John- that you will be best friends, friends in the Lord and that as you serve in the kingdom, it will bring joy to you and to your family.

Seek the power of prayer, seek the constant companionship of Heavenly Father- share your joys and concerns with the Father for He is mindful of you and brought you here at this special time.

We bless you to have a love for the scriptures- that they will be manna from heaven, that you will teach your family and others that we have a Redeemer who paid the price for our sins.

We bless you with these things and with faith in our Heavenly Father’s plan.
