John Eric Fors Blessing

Blessing of John Eric Fors,

Pronounced by his father, Eric Dennis Fors, July 5, 2014 in the home of his maternal grandparents, Jack and Carolyn Snyder in Boise, Idaho.

Our Heavenly Father, and in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the priesthood we hold, we take this infant in our arms to give him a name and a blessing.  The name we give him is John Eric Fors.

John, we love you so much.  You are a special boy to our Heavenly Father.

We bless you that you will be reminded of the way the church was restored, through humble beginnings, with friends in a log cabin.That the Gospel message has gone to all the world, Chile, Hong Kong, North America, Europe and to be a missionary in the latter days, and to bring the world his truth.

We bless you that your courage and fortitude will stand the test of the latter days when hearts fail and men know not where to turn and to teach that they should turn to the Lord

We bless you to have a personal relationship with our Savior.

We bless you to honor the priesthood and to bless the lives of those around you.

We bless you to have a tremendous desire to seek the Lord and the Holy Temple and to have your own testimony of the scriptures and ordinances.

We bless you to be like the apostles of old, James and John, the Sons of Thunder, courageous and valiant, and that as with the armies of Helaman you will learn from your good mother ways of truth and right.

We give you our love, support and example.
