Friday night out good friends the Christensen's watch the girls so we could go on one last get away before this baby comes. We went a little south of our house and stayed at the Lakeside Inn in Union Pier, MI. It was a very quaint place right on Lake Michigan. It started out as a farm house that let in boarders and then has had a history of being an inn of some type since 1915. The inside is very cozy with a big fireplace, ballroom, and sitting room. Our room had two nice rocking chairs and a great view of Lake Michigan.
The day started out cold, around 30, but by the afternoon it was a nice 65.
We had a great time and are so grateful to the Christensen's for watching our kids and glad they had such a great time.
