Dad's 60th Birthday Weekend

We had a good time this last weekend celebrating my dad's 60th Birthday in Boise. His brother and sister came all the way from Virgina to help celebrate. He was totally surprised! It was good to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Marie and Emily. It was a weekend full of family fun. Gretta and Eliza love to go to Boise to see Nana & Papa. Gretta wanted to stay much longer than we did. Gretta and Eliza also loved playing with cousin Jackson. Maybe Gretta more than Eliza. Gretta loves to be the big cousin. Eliza didn't like having to share toys. The other funny thing is that she called him, "baby" all weekend. I think she thinks she is big kid. It is pretty funny!
Thanks Mom & Dad for a great weekend!

Part of being a big girl is wanting to carry her own backpack like everyone else.

How did she get so big?

The grand kids

Saturday Aunt Marie, Emily, Gretta and I went to Linder Farms. We had a good time.

Gretta thought this was really cool.

Halloween

We took the kids around my parents cul-de-sac trick or treating. Some of their neighbors gave out regular sized candy bars. I would say for a few houses the kids got lots of candy and had a fun time. Emily went trick or treating with some neighborhood kids and came home with at least 8 lbs of candy.

Gretta loved playing with Emily during the weekend. It was so nice that they were on our same flight to SLC.
