Disneyland with Papa

Yesterday we went to Disneyland with Eric's Grandpa, Herb Goodrich, and Grandma Linda. Papa is 90 years old and hasn't been to Disneyland since 1986.
We were so excited he wanted to join us and wanted to see the girls enjoying Disneyland. We got up bright an early and were in the gates right after 8am. Gretta was excited because we got to park outside the parking structure on the ground level in the Pinocchio lot. We got a lot done in our first two house at Disneyland.

First we went on Dumbo

Then on the carousel

Eliza enjoyed her first solo ride on the horse.

Then we headed to Storybook Land.

It's A Small World

Winny the Pooh

The Mark Twain Boat. We sat in the very front.

While Eliza and I waited for everyone to go on Splash Mountain we saw Winny the Pooh up close and personal. He even touched Eliza. She wasn't scared one bit. It was funny because she saw him leave the park and really wanted to join him. Then when she came back she was really intrigued.
Papa survived Splash Mountain. The picture didn't turn out because they were in the back of the boat. Oh well.

Our last ride of the day was the Jungle Cruise.

Thanks Papa for such a wonderful day!!! It was our last day at Disneyland for a while. Our passes are now blacked out for the summer. Oh well. We hope to come back this fall for a trip or two.
