We got home around 8pm last night. This morning we spend the day enjoying St. Joseph's. First we went to the beach and tried out our new beach sun shade. We had a great time playing in the water and with the sand. We had a nice picnic. Then the thunderclouds started rolling in. We decided to pack up our stuff and head to the carousel. I had packed the kids dry clothes for the carousel. Just as we got inside it started to rain. I thought it would be perfect. We could ride the carousel and then figured the rain would stop. Boy was I wrong. The rain kept coming! So we went to the Kid's museum down by the carousel, we bought passes to the one on the bluff last week and they are part of the same group. We had a fun time, but it still kept raining. Finally we realized it wasn't going to stop. Poor Eric ran home in the rain and drove the car down to pick us up. It didn't stop raining until 7:30pm tonight. Even with the ran we still had a really fun morning at the beach, and a good day together as a family.
