Thanks Pops!!!

My dad surprised me this week by showing up on Thursday night to help while Eric is in China. He watched the girls on Friday. They had a fun time. They went to story time at the Library, and then he bought them pizza. In the afternoon they went to the Bean Museum, and then played outside until I came home from work. We all went to Panda Express for dinner.
Saturday we first dropped off the Infinite to get a flat tire checked, they said they couldn't fix it so my dad was nice enough to buy us a new tire. The funny thing is that we went to Discount Tire and they wanted to know where we bought them because they were their brand. Well Eric bought them down in East LA and paid cash, so I don't think they were under warranty.
Then we went to Home Depot to pick up some mulch for the yard and found out that they have a kids program where they can make something the first Saturday of every month. They gave Gretta & Eliza cute orange aprons with their names on them and then Pops helped them make flower planters.
Since it was raining we headed to the Aquarium. It was a huge success. The Penguins are so much fun to watch.
Saturday afternoon the rain finally stopped and Pops did a lot of yard work for us. He mowed the lawn, edged it, cut up some dead trees we had piled on the side of the house, and fixed the sprinklers up. The place is standing tall.
Today he helped us get to Church, and then stayed to hear Gretta say the First Article of Faith in Primary. Then he drove a long way home.

Thanks Pops for coming to visit!!!! We know it was a lot of work and driving, and we really appreciate it. Thanks again!
