This is the Place

This is the Place Monument

It was John Huntsman Sr Free day at This is the Place Monument in SLC on Friday. I have been wanting to go, so I was so excited about free day. 

Our first stop was Brigham Young's house.

Then we rode the train to the "Village" 

I am so sorry that I didn't get more pictures of the "Village". The Village is full of pioneer house that have been move to the park. At some of the locations there are people dressed up and tell you about the house. We went to the Huntsman Hotel and the bank and some houses. 

Here are the girls playing in the backyard of one of the houses. 

Then the girls went horseback ridding. This was the highlight of the day for them!!!

Eliza love the petting zoo. She loves animals and these animals were much more friendly than the ones in Palm Desert. 

She even wanted to pet the snake!

We ended the day at the play place.

It was a fun trip!
