We celebrated Eliza's birthday today with dinner to Qudoba's and cake and ice cream at home. It was a busy day so we decided to do her friend birthday next week. Luckily we did since the basement is still flooded and when we came home from Qudoba's tonight it required some more heroic measures from Eric to keep more water out of the basement.
I can't believe Eliza is 5 already! Time sure goes by so quickly!!!
Eliza is my buddy. I enjoy spending every day with Eliza. She is so funny, smart, witty, charming, outgoing, fun loving, and just plain fun to be around.
Eliza loves to play outside. She can be found digging in the dirt. Is always trying to make something grow. Really, really, really wants a real pet! She says a fish doesn't count as a real pet because you can't play with it. After our Moms Club activity to the Animal Shelter she has decided she wants a cat instead of a dog that jumps up and barks. Maybe that has something to do with the neighbor dog biting her last year too. If we weren't moving to Brazil I would have gotten her a cat. Instead she got a toy cat that purrs when you rub it's back. She also got dora gardening gloves which were a big hit.
Eliza also makes friends easily and loves to play with her sisters. She is doing a great job riding her bike and scooters and loves to color with side walk chalk outside. She also keeps asking me when we can go to the beach. She just loves to be outside:)
Eliza is also very smart and asks good questions and is always trying to figure out how things work.
She is a pro at the ipad and loves to watch TV too. She is also starting to read BOB books.
Eliza is a joy and delight! We are so glad she is part of our family.
