Lunch at the American Girl Store for Eliza's Birthday

We had such a fun time going into Chicago for Eliza's birthday. She was so excited to go to lunch at the American Doll Store and use the gift card that Grandma Linda & Papa Dennis sent to buy something at the store.
First we went to the Bean. I was so excited to finally see the bean. Then we hopped in a taxi to the store. Eliza was so excited to ride in a Taxi! Of course lunch was amazing and over the top. Luckily a few days before I called to see what special things they do for Birthdays and upgraded us to the Birthday package. It's a good think because I think about 1/2 the girls there were celebrating a birthday and I am sure Eliza would have felt a little left out if she hadn't gotten a birthday cake and sung Happy Birthday with everyone around her getting sung to. Plus she got a cool birthday crown and so did her doll. The girls also got a gift bag with a happy birthday shirt and balloon in it for their dolls.
The food was good and girls were starving so they ate well too.
After lunch we went shopping. Eliza got the PJ's that match Gretta's and also got them for her own doll. Plus she got her dolls ears pierced. She had been taking about that for weeks.I am not sure where that came from because she has never asked to have her own ears pierced.
Gretta was so excited Nana Carolyn send her some money so she could get the matching slippers. She has wanted those for MONTHS. Don't they all look cute matching their dolls slippers and all.
What a magical 5th birthday Eliza!
