When we lived in South Pasadena there was a frozen yogurt place called, "Yogurtland" not far from out house. I was obsessed with a flavor named toasted coconut. I think we went there twice a week at least. It was a serve yourself place and at the time was around 38 cents an oz. When we moved to Utah for MBA school pretty soon after we got there a Yogurtland opened up in Orem. We didn't go nearly as often since we were on a student budget, but I was still obsessed with toasted coconut. Since moving to Michigan I haven't been able to find anything that compares. The toasted coconut ice cream at Kilwin's very good, but it's not the same. The froze whole fruit ice cream bars from the grocery store are pretty good, and LaPerla's coconut ice cream is great, but they don't always have it.
So I was super happy to find coconut ice cream here in Brazil that is delicious! It's still not Yogurtland, but it's pretty darn good:)
