Today Successes

Well the weather has been much warmer the last two days. Yeah!!! Sunny and warm!!! 

So I might not freeze to death! In fact in a few weeks I am sure it's going to be to warm and I am going to wish I had A/C. We are so spoiled in the US with central heat and air. 

I am super proud of myself because I drove Eric to work today and made it home safe and sound. I am slowly building my confidence in my ability to drive around this city. It would give me more independence. 

Then Carli and I came home and went to the baby exercise class. The lady who teaches the class gave her a lollipop. Saturday is Child Appreciation Day so the teacher keep giving the the kids treats. That' is also why Gretta got to go to the movies yesterday and on Friday gets pajama day. 

Carli had a great time playing with the other babies, balls and hulu hoops. To bad she is a little aggressive with the other kids and I can't talk with the other nannies. 

Then we went on a walk down the street. It was my first solo venture walking around the neighborhood. Right next door is the neighborhood park. We took a little walk around the park and then up and down the street. We looked at a few grocery stores and ended up buying some fruit. They were giving out samples of the fruit on the left. It was very sweet and good. The total was 16,00 reais. I have heard that the market is much cheaper, but I haven't seen one closet to my house and I can't talk with them anyway. 

I was a little sad because the grapes have seeds and the tangerines were a little dry. Oh well. I tried the one on the right, so I am sure that it's great.
