Our Apartment on the 14th Floor

Eric did a great job when he found our housing. Not only is the apartment comfortable and a great space for us, but it has some great outside space for the kids to play. It's great to have a safe outside place for the kids and I to hang out.
Speaking of safety I feel like we live in Fort Knox's. The first day we were here we are taken to the office and Eric and I had our fingers scanned and pictures taken. To get in and out of the building you have to go through two doors. They don't open the second door until the one behind you is shut. At the main entrance I can use my finger on a special scanner to open the front door. At the back gate they just ID you via the video camera. The apartment complex has big fences with either barbed wire or electric fence at the top.
When we come in by car we have a car hanging tag, but they also make you lower the windows to see who is in the car when you are leaving and coming. Both car entrances also have two doors. Plus there are video cameras everywhere!!! And a lot of security at the doors and some one who walks around the grounds. I have realized that most kids Gretta's age and older are allowed to play downstairs by themselves. I am sure it's because their parents know as long as they stay inside the condo complex that they are well watched.
Here are some pictures of the condo.

We have a nice balcony with floor to ceiling glass so the kids can't fall out.

A grill and another table on the deck.

Kitchen. We are super lucky to have a dishwasher!!!

Gretta and Eliza's room. Notice all of the nice decorations we took out of the living room and put up high out of  Carli's reach.

Their bathroom
Carli's room and bathroom.

Our bedroom and bathroom. We also have very large closets!!!

The guest 1/2 bath
The elevator comes right to our front door.

The laundry room with a washer and dryer.

The condo complex has 4 buildings all with 35 floors in them each.
Part of the grounds.
