Kids Club

The hotel had an amazing Kids Club. They even had two college age girls to watch the kids while they were in the Kids Club. I was actually impressed that I didn't see a nanny all weekend. There were quite a few other families with kids and no one brought their nanny. During our week at the condo in Sao Paulo when we go to the park or the play area I almost NEVER see a parent. All the kids are with their nannies. One Sunday on the way to church the elevator door opened and it was a nanny and a baby getting on the elevator while the mom was standing in the door way in her bathrobe giving the nanny instructions. So it is rare to see parents taking care of their children themselves in upper class Brazilian families. However that said parents are parents all over the world. At lunch on Saturday there was a couple an their 4 year old daughter. When I looked back at them they were both on their phones and the girls was eating quietly with no one paying any attention to her.
The girls had a fun time playing at the Kids Club. Of course they didn't want to get left with the babysitters who didn't speak any English, but it was still a fun place to play with them. The Treehouse was amazing.
